Does anyone know what sort of symptoms present themselves if your Crohn's Disease is in the mouth? I have heard that it can manifest there and I now have some symptoms that are making me concerned. What should I be aware of and should I speak to my gastroenterologist or speak with an ENT?

"canker sores" just like ulcers in the stomach and colon. I can get 10-15 at a time during a flare up hurts like a #$%^&

My crohn's is in my colon, but my friend had it in her mouth and like tots said, she'd get ulcers in her mouth and her tongue and cheeks would puff up..

Ulcers in both my mouth and throat.
Very painful and debilitating.
The throat ones give me an earache - which is a real pain!

I've had chron's for 22 years. The past 6 years have been some of my worst. I've had surgeries, seen specialists and not so specialists. 6 years ago I got peri-anal disease, and have had fistulas bleeding and leaking on and off for the past few years.
Now for the face questions: I have had an enlarged cheek bone (the lower back of the right side of my face) for the past 2 years. I also have major dryness in my mouth. I saw an ENT, and my GP, who sent me to a rheumatologist to rule out sjogren's syndrome. It seems I don have sjogren's, and no one knows what the **** is wrong with me. I had a visit with a new ENT last week, who also didnt know what it is, and directed me to his partner. I saw his partner a few days later, who said he doesnt think its sjogren's either, but would like to do an MRI and more blood work. Then he said, maybe its crohn's of the mouth.... and I said Shiiiiit.
So there it is. I need to take a pill called Evoxac 2-3 times a day to produce saliva, because my piece of **** body cant do what babies can do.

I go through periods with my crohns where I get lots of mouth ulcers/sores all around my teeth, under my tongue etc, and they're really sore. The only way I've managed them is by overdosing on orange juice - after a couple of days the vitamins seem to help - although obviously i go to the loo slightly more. I was told when diagnosed that mouth ulcers were common with crohns.
