I haven't been diagnosed with Crohn's disease yet, but am currently waiting for an appointment with a GI specialist. My doctor has referred me as she suspects crohns. I have had bad abdominal cramping and pain for a few months now, very loose stools, going about 4 times per day and mouth ulcers. I have noticed mucous on my stools the rare time it is a formed BM and a small amount of blood. Anyone else with similar symptoms? All my stool samples came back negative for bacteria or parasites.

Welcome to the forum, Caithanc!

Your symptoms are very typical of Crohn's. Sounds like a fairly textbook case, if that is what you have. Hopefully you'll be able to get a diagnosis and treatment soon!

Is there anything else you'd like to know?

 I hope things go well for you!

I read other peoples posts about how sick they are and I feel like I don't feel anywhere near as bad. Can crohns range from mild to severe symptoms? And get worse over the years? I jut feel like if I do have it, it's just starting out. I just feel very blah most of the time. Sorry, blabbing lol

Hi Caith, sounds like crohns to me, but yes it can change one from mild to severe. Maybe you have been lucky and it's quite mild or/and realised early on. Fingers crossed you get some definite answers soon :)

Yes, the symptoms can occur at any severity and can change at any time as well. If you do have it, it's great that you're catching it now. If the condition isn't very active yet, it should be easier to treat and control. :)
