Hiya all,
I'm new to this forum and just happened to stumble across it while searching on google. I'm currently lying in hospital while typing my introduction.
I had a total-proctocolectomy on the 27th of this month, they successfully removed my large bowel, and all that connects to my bottom including the hole. I also had revision of my stoma, I had a loop illeostomy initially done on 22nd of September 2010, they performed take down and gave me a new end stoma. It has been an emotional ride the last couple of weeks, I just don't know how I would have done it without my amazing partner of 9 months.
Im a mother to two beautiful girls aged 6 and 8. They have got me through so many tears nights with their warm cuddles. It was just us 3 for 7 years, so it's very easy to call them my heros.
Well I don't want to hold you up with to much reading, I'm happy for more questions thrown my way.
Take care all.
