Hello,

In Nov. 2010 I started treatment with Cyclosporine through an IV for 10 days and am currently taking it in pill form (as Sandimmune capsules). I had a lot of trouble finding out information about other people with UC or Crohns who did this treatment and what sort of side effects they experienced, and the final effect it had, so if anyone is going to try this treatment and has any questions, feel free to message me or reply to this.

Hi jfb115,
How did this work out for you? I will be going in for the 14 day treatment on July 19th. Just wondering how it turned out for you? I hope you had some relief :) I appreciate any info you may be willing to share.
Thanks

Hi
My 23 year old son has crohns colitis. He was treated successfully with iv cyclosporine a number of time. Now that he is transitioning to an adult doctor we are having difficulty finding one that is on board with this treatment. Does anyone know of a doc in either Philadelphia or New York?

We have a doctor directory in here. You might want to check it out.

The doctor in NY who handled my treatment was Adam Steinlauf, he is at the Jill Roberts IBD Center at Cornell Univ Hospital in Manhattan. Good luck!
