Dental Implant While On Humira

I've already done it. I had a rod implanted in my lower jaw that will support a fake tooth by sometime in January. I've been on Humira since '07 and for the first time think that my overall health is strong enough to handle this.

Possible infection is at the back of my mind, of course, but I think I'll be okay. I'll let you know.

Has anyone else on Humira had a dental implant to correct a missing tooth?

Although not an implant, which I have had, I have had root canal and an extraction whilst on Humira.

I had an implant while on Humira. I did get an infection, but I don't know if that might have happened anyway. I'm so glad I got the implant, though, that I'd go through the infection again if I had to.
