Dexa scan and peptamen Jr.

Ds is having a DEXA scan monday.
We were told no calcium supplements (ie tums ,vitamins) not sure on the peptamen jr since it's like a vitamin drink.

Anyone have an y experience?
WE are skipping for two days just to be safe.:wink:

Probably OK since Peptamen Jr. is used for tube feeding kids who can't take anything by mouth.

Let us know the results of the DXA scan.

Results should be stated in terms of standard deviations from the mean. +/- within one standard deviation from the mean is OK. More than 1 standard deviation is not so good; more than 2 standard deviations is definitely not OK.

We just went last Monday for a Dexa Scan. We dont know the results yet.
