Diagnosed with Collagenous colitis

Hello group, I am glad I found this forum. I have been recently diagnosed with Collagenous colitis, my Dr has prescribed Entocort, which since I started taking this medication has helped me, but they want to do more tests.
Medicare will not pay for the Rx and want me to pay out of pocked $1400, I went to Mexico and got the same thing for $45.
Does anyone else here have this?

Yes, maybe, I might have the same as you. I forget which type of microscopic colitis I was diagnosed with. The diagnosis was a long time ago.

I've read of others doing the same, buying at a much lower price Entocort that was effective outside of country.
