Hey so I'm in the middle of some sort of epic flare, a CT scan about 3 weeks showed some bad diverticulitis and generally inflamed colon, but as the flare progresses I'm noticing the effects of the diverticulitis, like my colon is hoarding things....
I took Pentasa a year ago, and it has those beads in it and at the time I had so many of those medication delivery beads in my stool, but they are still coming out! I took this medication a year ago and I know I havent' had anything like that since then- was my colon really keeping these things tucked away for a year!? Is this what diverticulitis is usually like? I've heard others with divert. say that they often see corn in their stool a week or 2 after they eat it, but not a year...
I've been so caught up with my overall Crohn's through the years I've never taken the time to learn these things.
