Did any of you get diagnosed with either strictures, abcesses or fistulas or near blockage without excruciating pain before the diagnoisis?

I'm really wondering, all answers are greatly welcome!

(I suspect partial blockage culd be what I am dealing with now, and thus I'd really like to know.)

I've had a lot of uncomfort, and what I would describe as inflammation, but not real pain some of you talk about wher you vomit from pain....

Hello,

I have a stricture that I will be having surgery for this week...I have had a lot of vomiting etc but funnily enough my pain has decreased so I haven't experienced pain like everyone else seems to! x

Partial small bowel blockage

My CAT scan showed a narrowing in my small bowel. & I have a recto-vaginal Fistula. I just got out of the hospital because of really bad Ulcers on the top of my tummy. Does stress cause you to have more trouble? It sure does for me!As for the Pain its not everyday, but I get sharp, stabbing pains sometimes & when i roll over in bed at night I feel as though something is ripping apart in my lower left side.

Strictures can be asymptomatic. Depending on the location, fistulas can be as well. As for partial blockages, I'm not 100% sure so won't comment on them.

Any time I have had a partial blockage, it involved a lot of pain and would come without warning.
