Just wondering if you or your kids bled easier iwhile on Remicade or even Humira.

Grace has had 4 issues the last 2 weeks where being poked for an IV's or losing a baby tooth had caused her to bled a lot more than she ever use too.

That's a good question. I have no scientific answer for you.
I had dental work done last week and the dentist said I bled less than most people would because of the remicade .

I have not really noticed, although sometimes I do get more bruising after my infusion, but that does not happen all the time. And if I get a cut, etc I don't really notice a difference.

Not in our experience. Is she on steroids or an NSAID by any chance?

My kid's platelet count dropped during Remicade loading doses. Though it stayed within normal range, it was a worrisome downward trend. It recovered in his most recent labs, drawn at his second maintenance dose.

Hmmmm, if I remember her platelets did dip but not in the danger zone. I'll check, thanks.
she did have low wbc count but I didn't think that would affect her clotting abilities.

I know that liver issues, vitamin deficiencies and a low red blood cell count can all cause bleeding.

Johnny has it occasionally, sometimes he just continues to bleed after his vein poke for labs and once he had petechiae. He pediatrician ordered bloods to check for clotting issues (and maybe something else?) but everything was fine. I would let the Dr. know. Johnny is not on remicade but has had those issues on 6mp.
