Do you have a reaction to Konjac/Shirotaki noodles

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone has a reaction to Konjac or Shirotaki noodles (japanese yam). I tried these as I have a problem with rice. However, swelled up like a balloon right away. Has anyone had the same experience?

Hey I actually have these noodles roughly once a week and have always been fine! I do make sure to rinse them first and then boil, even though some come pre-cooked. Maybe it is something to do with the way the noodles you have are processed. Because from my understanding they are pretty "clean" noodles!
