Doctors in Switzerland?

It has been a few years.... Life is busy, to say the least.

I have been responding very well to Humira since my surgery 6 years ago. The docs said at my last muppetoscopy that I am in full endoscopic remission. If it wasn't for the obvious signs of surgery, they would not know that I had Crohn's.

Anyhow.... the better half applied to a job in Switzerland. Me being the foolishly optimistic person said "Great! Sounds like fun!". The sking, cheese with holes, yodeling, the crisp alpine air.... what's not to love?? (And yes, I am being silly).

All kidding aside. I am wondering if there are anyone here from Switzerland? Any good doctors in Geneva? How is the quality of care?

thanks!

Thanks, Scipio. Luckily, Switzerland is a small country. Lausanne is less than an hour from Geneva by train, Bern is about 2 hours, and Zurich is 3 hours by train. Worst case, I can make any of those cities work.

IMHO, being a modern, advanced country does not necessarily mean you have the best in health care. I am sure there are a few people here who will gladly grumble about NHS over in England.

In that case you can consider:

Dr. Gerhard Rogler. University Hospital, Zurich
Dr. Pierre Michetti. Lausanne
Dr. Frank Seibold, Bern

All three are prominent IBD docs.
