I'm having a really tough time with life at the moment :( after having gone back to work I feel like crap, I don't know what is going on at the moment with my Crohn's I get pain literally straight after I've eaten, every time I go for a BM there's blood also when I wipe afterwards as well, I get quite dizzy, nauseated, extremely tired and I get really bad night sweats which end up with my bed sheets dripping with sweat:(
:eek2:. On top of all of that I've been having problems with my breathing/chest to the point they have had to give an inhaler which I have to pump twice four times a day, but they are still not to sure what is going on.
I have been really quite stressed lately with work and I am Really Quite Annoyed at the NHS at the moment. I'm still trying to change to a different Gastro doc because my one at the minute is absolutely the worst doc I have ever had :ymad:. I have so many things going on with the NHS I just feel like I can't cope that and work at the moment is just making me want to shut down completely again  :angry-banghead: :runaway: .

Sorry about all of that :ybatty: I just don't know what to do

These sound like very common flare symptoms you are experiencing. :(

Have you ever suffered from allergies in the past? Allergies occur when your immune system reacts to outside factors. Since crohn's is considered an autoimmune disorder by most, it would make sense that if your crohn's acts up that any other autoimmune issues you may have would overreact some as well. And it IS that time of the year when hay fever runs rampant and I think it's supposed to be worse this season I believe. This past week in Chicago has been HELL for my symptoms and I have been having random reactions that even resemble minor EIM (Extra Intestinal Manifestation) symptoms I get at the start of a crohn's flare.

Were you able to talk to your boss about your condition and maybe finding other responsibilities at the stables that aren't as taxing on your body and energy levels? Make sure you are getting plenty of rest as well. I hope everything turns around for you soon!

Hi CrohnsChicago, I am allergic to dust, hay, straw, haylage and many different types of horse bedding, I have allergies throughout the year, because I am around it all year round but it has never ever been this bad . My symptoms have been going on for 4months, my chest/breathing have been getting worse lately really weird things happen sometimes it feel like my heart is beating really slow and heavy for a bit then it will go back to normal, other times it feels like it misses a bit or put an extra beat in and it is so much effort to breath it feels like my lungs just want to give up on me .

I have spoken to my boss about my condition, but because they are so busy and short on staff I'm having to push myself to do things, I do think in a way they are overworking us there :( which is bad. I don't want to say anymore to her in case I lose my job, I really don't want that to happen and I don't want to have to give up working with horses :(

I'm not sure what other problems you're having with the NHS, but have you thought of getting some help from PALS? http://www.nhs.uk/chq/Pages/1082.aspx?CategoryID=68&SubCategoryID=153

I've replied to a similar thread that you have posted. Hopefully my reply will be of some comfort to you. Remember that you only get one shot at health in life, so in order to continue with your love of horses be true to yourself and get your doctor to advise you properly.

The previous advice that you have had in relation to going to A&E is very sound imho.
