Endep for treatment

Hi there everyone, i recently have been prescribed endep, i seem to have alot of the signs of crohns but when tested it was negative, so after taking endep 50mg i have found to be in a lot less pain and also the attacks are hardly occuring anymore.

How ever, i have gain around 20 or so kilos which apprently is a side effect of endep that is known, what i am wondering is if anyone else is on endep and if they are expencing the same issue and how you have gone about trying to loose the weight.

I have my wedding in 12 months and would really love to shed some of this weight before then as i really want to look amazing on my day!

I have never heard of Endep and had to look it up, and see that it is amitriptyline. I've never taken amitriptyline, only Zoloft (sertraline), so can't help you out on that, but maybe someone else knows.
