I had both an endoscopy & colonoscopy this past week. Looks like the esophagitis and gastritis is better due to the Nexium. I am still having reflux w/burning esophagus and stomach. My tonsils and uvula are still red and inflamed. The doc took biopsies and is looking for eosinophils etc.
The colonoscopy revealed a polyp and granular mucosa. Any thoughts on this finding? The doc took biopsies.
Is it a wise thing to request investigation into the small intestine? I have a lot of abdominal pain. I can tell when stool moves from the small intestine to the large intestine due to the pain.
I had my procedures done at a hospital outside of my county and it was a wonderful experience. If the rest of the hospital is like that, then I plan on switching to that hospital instead of my local hospital. I left feeling physically better than when I arrived because they listened to my husband and I and did what needed to be done. What a blessing. God answered my prayers.
