The good news is that I am now off Entocort and Prednisone. I took Entocort over a year and once in a while, I was given Prednisone for flares. The bad news is that I just took a second bone density test and I was told that I was a "little worse" and it would be discussed at my next appointment with my GI doctor. My question is, What would be the best thing to help this problem? I am lactose intolerant, so cow's milk is not a possiblity.

Make sure to get adequate amounts of Vitamin D. Vitamin K2 is also important for bone health but is often neglected.

Make sure it's vitamin D3! 5000 mg a day at least and try taking it with calcium. I heard it's more effective that way.:rosette2:
