Entocort and menstration?

Hey,

So this is a super personal question, but I feel like I've lost all my dignity in the last few weeks anyway so here goes...

I started taking Entocort about three weeks ago and my cycle has started early, is very painful and heavy and is much more clotted than usual. Is this a less talked about side effect?

I am so tired of trying navigate the contradictory information of the internet and trying to figure out what to eat and how to get my energy back and function that this was just the last straw!

I had similar symptoms, very heavy and big clots - kinda scary. My gyn told me I was probably pre-menapause, but that was 3 years ago and I still have regular periods, but much lighter. But, no idea if the two are related....

I am 33 and very certain I am not pre-menapausal so that is certainly not it. I will see my GI doctor in another week and half so I'll ask him then. It is quite disturbing.
