FCP test

I need to hand in my FCP test tomorrow, but I've never done this before. As my appointment is pretty early, would I be able to do the test the night before and put the sample (wrapped up and in the tube of course) in my fridge all night?

Sorry Amanda. Late home from work and just seen this post now, so probably too late for advice. Is it your local surgery or hospital you have to hand in the sample? I think I would phone the practice nurse or my IBD nurse and ask if refrigeration would affect the test negatively.

Hi Helen,

Not to worry, I ended up keeping it in the fridge anyway and nurse didn't seem to think it would cause a problem. I had to hand it into my local surgery, but luckily I had a blood test at 08:45 this morning so I was able to give it in then.
