So i came back from holidays and got the call to go to my GI to have some more tests. This took shape of a stool sample and fasting for a day before getting four bottles of blood taken and then put on ice.
This new GI is certainly going for a different set of tests but doesn't say much
A Fecal Elastase test and a fasting Gut Hormone test.
Dont know anything about these but i gather from the nurse that they have something to do with Gut/Pancreas disorders .
Any info from anybody who has done these and what the out come would be would be great .
