Fecal Transplant

Ok, so I know the title sounds a bit strange, but I've been reading about fecal transplants and how they are helping people with diseases of the digestive system. Does anyone know more information about this or have actually tried it? This is the article I read about it. It discusses C. Diff a lot, but also mentions other IBD symptoms.

I don't have much personal experience on the subject, but this is something that has been discussed on the forum many times in the past.

A fecal transplant (FT) pretty much saved my uncle's life. He had the C. diff colitis infection and was in progressive decline. About 3 days after the FT he started feeling normal again…. get the word out!

Even Stephen Colbert reported on this new procedure…
