Feel rotten

hey All,
i feel like ive been hit by a bus today. woke up with everything hurting, sore head throat bones skin. feels like a flu. have a mild temp of 99.4f or 37.4 c.

my question is:
those of you on remicade have said that getting an upper respitory infection is quiet common after 1st infusion, but do you just ride it out or get it treated. ive already been to the docs this wk about flank pain and they found blood in my urine but no infection. nevertheless i wasnt allowed to get my 2nd infusion.
I dont want to be running every turn around to my Gp.

I never had a full-blown cold or flu while on Remicade, but did have what I thought was the start of something. I just waited it out each time and was usually feeling better in a few days. HOWEVER, I do not recommend this, as while on Remicade a slight anything can become a huge something in a short time.

I think you should at least call your GP and see what they reccomend.

I'm a stubborn person..but not always a smart one.

You should probably ring, Id say they kinda want to know everything after the first infusion. God that is awful now.. I know I had that reaction to 6-mp that is why I hated it. But it just might be a temporary thing and your body might be just getting used to it. Hope you start to feel a bit better soon.

oych my joints hurt so much right now its difficult to walk. what has it done to me. i think another trip to the gp is in order.

Oh poor you! It's bad enough to feel bad from the illness then to feel bad from the drugs!): I felt pretty bad on rEmicade and after about a year was taken off because of antibodies..my face swelled up,I vomited as soon as the remicade hit my blood system. I hope it's just your body getting used to it but I agree..bug the gp about it. You cannot be too careful on these biologics IMHO!

ive only had 1 infusion. looks like remi is not for me.
its the only thing that helped.
