I was wondering if this is to do with IBD or just my body being weird as usual :)

If I go to bed feeling nauseas and the usual pain etc, and I either sleep or try to sleep, during the night I get a cold and feel run down, sore throat, headache etc and feel worse. Then later on in the day if i'm feeling better the run down-ness goes away. So it's only there when i'm most poorly.

Is that just me? Anyone else? Related to IBD?

I have no reason for the cold, sore throat, headaches - I know we all get them from time to time but it's usually when i'm feeling worse than usual.

:ghug:

Not sure on this one. Is it sinus pressure perhaps? Sounds like me when I'm getting a cold coming on. I definitely find that to be worse at night, especially when I'm awake in bed and not distracted by other things.

When I get overtired I feel like I have flu. Aches, pains, fuzzy head feeling, feel like I have a fever (though the thermometer doesn't think so). And then after I have caught up with some sleep, the feeling goes away. So I'm guessing it is related somehow. Maybe i get a touch of a virus and I get tired while I battle it off? Or maybe something to do with being tired tricks my body into thinking I have a virus? Who knows!

Being tired defo triggers these symptoms with me too, immune system runs amok!
After a restful 9 or more hours sleep these symptoms pass.
Last night I felt like I was getting flu, went to bed early, feel fine now, quickest flu recovery ever!

Ohh yay other people who feel and do the same! It's so weird though. I sometimes think i'm genuinely catching something and going to get really ill and then after a nights sleep i'm over it haha!

I'm sorry I'm just now seeing this thread. It's nice to find out there are others out there who feel like I do!! If I get the least bit tired, I feel like I have the flu, sometimes run a low grade fever and oftentimes get sick at my stomach. I've been telling my family for years that I can't allow myself to get too tired. I can pretty much tell when I'm reaching the point of no return, so I make myself relax and if that means doing absolutely nothing, that's exactly what I do.:)

I experience the same thing. No fever recorded, but when I am over tired I feel nauseous and fuzzy headed. Rest generally helps. During this flare up I feel this way from about 3:30pm on. I too thought it was just me...

Tonight is a perfect example. I have had a lot of stress the past
few weeks. Now that its resolving my body betrays me and
Crohns is showing its ugly face!!

Fatigue. Sick to my stomach. Horrible cramping.

I am toast!
