Hey Chad sorry to hear you are having so much trouble. When you've had labs run did they check for vitamin levels? Cd'ers are commonly deficient in some vitamins, and numbness, neuropathy type symptoms can occur. I think D, B12, magnesium and folate would be a good start but there might be more. I'm going to tag David because this is his area of knowledge.

Chad I'm sorry you are feeling this way. I totally relate because I am extremely weak and walking to get a cup of water is exerting for me and I am out of breath and often dizzy/faint doing minor things. My B12 and Vit D3 was fine but iron is a bit low, I am not sure about my magnesium.

It's very frustrating but one thing I think might be the case at least for me is that the diarrhea is really making me lose a lot of weight and nutrients and causing major weakness. I was also told that the inflammation if high needs to be treated (hopefully Remicade will begin doing this for you)

Chad, you mention you had low B12 and were taking vitamins. Have you had B12 INJECTIONS? Because often the oral or sublingual vitamins are nowhere near enough if you're deficient in B12 due to Crohn's disease.

I'd definitely have them retest your B12 levels. Supplementing magnesium may be worth trying as well as many with Crohn's are deficient in it and the serum magnesium test is pretty useless to determine if you're actually deficient or not. Those are the two biggies when it comes to fatigue related to vitamin/mineral deficiency. There are of course other potential causes as well and our wiki entry on fatigue may give you some additional ideas.
