Do you ever felt that weird feeling of being bloated? Also does anyone get pain under their left rib. I think the traverse colon runs under there.

Bloat is my middle name, I get it alot, and have it now, not sure why, but if I eat something risky or wait too long in between meals, but sometimes the pain is really bad and need something for pain... Cheese and Chocolate, are major no no's for me....

Hey Mary, when is the next time you see your GI? Just want to make sure you are seeing them soon to share all this stuff with. We don't want to miss active inflammation going on.

Peaches, I,m going tomorrow to discuss the small bowel follow through. Does that show inflammation? What do they do for inflammation? Last night I ate a ton of chocolate pie and felt good but now I feel like crap. UGH!! It took that long.

Well, I don't think I'm saying the thing about the SBFT - more that I think it is important to share everything you have posted here over the last week. If they don't know about it - they can't help you with it you know? If they were just looking at your SB and didn't see anything - then maybe your issue is with your colon only and I'd just share your concerns with your doc just in case the meds aren't doing a good enough job for you. Your colonoscopy was a while ago right?

As for chocolate pie - while it sounds wonderful - it would certainly cause me problems too. Chocolate in general makes me have D and cramps. I can eat a very very small amount - but if I over do - I pay for it. Good luck with your appointment tomorrow!

Unfortunately for me feeling bloated is not a good sign it usually means trouble is coming soon in terms of a flare up

I cannot eat sugar or chocolate or wheat - I am envious of your chocolate pie :)
