Bolton,
Things haven't been going too well recently and over the last couple of weeks I've developed new symptoms and pains. I had a bowel narrowing a couple of years back, but now I feel that this has recurred because I get pain in the same place just between my belly button and chest bone.

I constantly have no appetite and feel full even when I've not eaten. I've had 2 small meals today because I know I need to eat something but I've not been hungry at all.

I've now got pains in my knees and ankles that were never there before and the exhaustion is horrendous. I've barely eaten or drunk alcohol over the Christmas period so I know it's not over indulgence catching up with me.

The sensible side of me tells me im being paranoid but my gut instinct -no pun intended - is that something just isn't quite right. But I feel scared to get checked out. It's crazy [emoji20]

My first impression ,since you are feeling full , is could you have a bowel obstruction? Call your doctor and set up an appointment asap. Let us know how it goes.

It does sound like you are in an active flare. Was the narrowing 2 years ago caused by inflammation and was resolved with meds or was it scar tissue?

I don't think your fear of getting checked out is crazy. Its understandable at times to not want to know. But I think, in this case, it's probably best to put a call into the GI and let them know what is going on.

Hopefully, if it is stricturing(narrowing) then it's due to inflammation and they can treat it aggressively so that it isn't allowed to chronically simmer.
