Howdy everyone, I'm pretty new here so don't bite!

Although I've not officially been diagnosed at the moment, I'm so close to having a camera test done at the beginning of January to TRY and find what's going on in there.

My question is this: I'm always feeling tired at the moment. Being unable to do the simpliest tasks and to literally just get going.
I'm unsure is this is because of always being on the toilet and vomitting or just because I don't want to eat half of the time.

But I was wondering if you could offer me advice.
Is there anything you have done which has made you feel a little more... Alive I guess.

I've been told to take multi vitamins or try exercise to boost my stamina but when trying to get advice from pharmacists, a lot of them tell me different things!

Something else I have to be careful of also is that I've developed intollerances to Gluten and milk also, so I'm trying to avoid anything like these... especially in multi vitamins. There's that many to chose from I'm so confused!

What are your success stories?

Hey Lana ( I love your username :) ) Welcome to the forum. Happy to meet you, but sorry it's because you're unwell. If it is IBD you have, fatigue is a very common symptom. Like you say it can be from vomiting and D and from fighting pain. But inflammation in the bowel can cause malabsorption leading to vitamin deficiency, especially iron, so it's probably worth asking to have your levels tested.

I too suffer from extreme tiredness. I agree with getting your blood checked- anaemia, b12 and vit D deficiencies are common. In addition, try to stay hydrated- lots of water and you might like to try fluid replacement/ electrolyte drinks if you have diarrhoea. I like to schedule a nap when I get home from work to give me more energy to get through the evening. Finally, don't sweat the small stuff! I can't remember the last time I did any ironing (I just fold my clothes neatly and hope the creases drop out) because there's more important things to do with my energy!

Oh thanks you Helen, originally it was a means of getting people to say pronounce my name correctly (it's Lana... Rhymes with banana) and it just stuck :)

Thank you for your advice, I'll definitely get my levels checked when I can. I'm just worried that if i try something before my camera test in January and it makes it better in there, they'll pass it off as something that's of less importance or significance. Am i being silly?

P.S. Helen Melon literally made me 'aww' out loud :)

Oh so I'm not alone... Thank goodness!
I try as much as I can to drink water, I don't like any other drinks so water si always the way to go for me, I'm like a little fish =]

Ohhhhh I love naps but I simply do not have the time for them :( i had one the other day which was only meant to be for an hour at the most...it lasted for 4 hours! Beautiful though :)
