First time blood!

So, this afternoon I discover blood in my stool and on the tissue for the first time :/ On day 5 of 7 of Metronidazole and had a day of pigging out yesterday, possibly the culprit. Tut, oh well. Guessing it's looking more likely there is definitely something going on somewhere in my system. I have come to the conclusion it will be found when it's found. I'm past stressing over this. Can't be good given many sufferers blame stress for flare ups. My body can get on with it. What will be will be. Live the best you can is my advice and try your damned hardest to not let this rule. No clue as yet. See the consultant on the 27th. Will see what she says. Living in limbo is truly annoying lol. The pains subsided somewhat from Wednesday but I can feel them slowly coming back.... possibly cos I over ate?? I usually eat quite well and healthy so yesterday may have shocked my system. I just NEEDED to eat junk like all day hahaha

I find that once in a blue moon I have a little blood as well,usually on a Monday and I put it down to eating more than normal or having a few drinks over the weekend.the occasional blow-out does no harm.good luck all the best

This may seem odd but I would vouch for the colonoscopy if you are in two minds about it, as it was something i was never prepared to consider but without it and then the MRI i would never have got to the bottom of why i was so messed up all the time.

just a reminder, blood in the stool isn't 'normal' and if you dont stop whatever is cousing it, it might catch up with you one day.
