Hi guys I know this is probably a really stupid question but does anyone struggle using suppositories. I can't seem to push them all the way in and the just slip out. Sorry if it's too much information. I have been given them again this time 3 times a day. I don't have time to do them at work so going to struggle with the dose.

I have these sore that don't seem to be clearing up for the last. 6 months this is the third time I've been on them, one of the sore is on the outside of my anus and keeps getting bigger but they are irritated every time I open my bowels.

I am on infliximab/remicade and have been for the last 3 years but it doesn't seem to be helping them or the loss of blood

Does anyone have any tips on how to make the suppositories easier?

Thanks

Sorry - no tips on that but it sounds like you are not in remission and need a change of medication not just flagyl suppositories. Just my thought given you have had this problem for more than 6 months and active perianal disease is part of what remicade should be healing up.

Well I did think that as I keep getting the suppositories and no further advice about it. On the last prescription he did put perinatal disease. I would of thought that the remicade should be tackling it but it just doesn't seem to be going away. They are quite annoying. I am seeing the gastro nurse in 2 weeks I will discuss it with her again then.
