Flare or stomach bug?

So iv been doing real well on remi, n pred (on 2.5 now) Havnt bled in aggggges, last cal protectin came back 25, but tonight I woke up w stabbing pains right under my belly button, and first bit of diaroea iv had in like 5-6 months. I don't know if it's a flare or a stomach bug that's been going around I don't know what to do, the pain was excruciating, I really don't wanna up my pred dosage as I now have osteoporosis but I don't know what else to do. How long should I wait it out if it's a stomach bug, and has anyone else had something similar happen and it just be a bug?

Personally I can not tell different sometimes special went there bug round, I would made try give few days and see. But obvious it your choice good luck. x

I agree, if it's a bug, it should fizzle itself out in a few days and you should go back to feeling better, if not then you'd need to go the doctors any way, having a lot of D for more than a couple of days can cause severe dehydration which isn't pleasant.

Apparently there's been a bug around lately, doctor reckons heaps of people been getting knocked on their ass by it, so I'm hoping it's just that and not a flare, I was doing well, it's weird that it'd just come out of nowhere, plus my mom and bro have been sick so it's looking more and more like something in the air. Fingers crossed for me
