SO today, I took my daughter back to see her GI doctor. Small bowel series was negative for inflammation, but positive for hypersecretiion and malabsorptive state (Celiac) and her blood work was positive for Crohn's. We are looking at having another colonoscopy and EGD done on April 4th. Steroids are being weaned. Starting gluten free diet. And staying on Apriso. Has anyone else had this happen with their child or themselves???? I feel like we are back to square one right now. Plus I am taking her to a GYN to rule out endometriosis as a possible culprit as well......

GYN symptoms can be caused by Crohns. I had alot of problems before my Crohns was diagnosed. Would have made treatment easier if we had known then! After awhile you need to treat the patient and the symptoms! I did not know a SBS could show hyper secreation and or malabsorbtion, so I cant help with that. I chose not to take the IBD9 blood test, there were to many negatives that out weighed any good the test would do.

I hope your daughter gets on the path to healing soon!
