Frustrated with pain

While this is nothing new to any of us, I'm feeling very down tonight. I was inpatient twice in past month and twice between Halloween and Christmas, with a surgery around Thanksgiving. They keep telling me I'm in endoscopic remission and that my pain is either caused my my endometriosis or I'm in the percentage of CD patients who are in visual remission but still experience the pain... either way, they can't help me. I'm in so much pain. My gyne gave me oral morphine but tonight that's barely touching it. I haven't worked since Nov because of this pain and un-improvable fatigue, but got my denial for SSDI this week... No one other than all of you understand this frustration, this feeling of defeat. Don't get me wrong, I know tons of people have it tons worse, but I just am so tired of unmanageable pain! I'm fine with living with my normal 4/10 pain, but this 8+ crap is draining!!!! Thanks for listening!

If SSDI denied you, you need to get an attorney to file your appeal. Also make sure your GI is onboard with your disability. Are you also part of the disability group here? If not, you need to be for support.
I'm sorry about the pain. Many of us go thru the same torment. My docs have no medical reason why I still have chronic pain in my left abdomen. They just leave it at that. One GI also told me during my last hospital stay that he wanted me off my pain meds. Great. I guess we just get to live with what pains us.

Yes I have a lawyer who already out in for the appeal but they said that's 12-18 mos for the hearing. I'm also part of the disability group I'm sorry to hear you, too, have chronic pain. And honestly I mean that I'm truly ok with my last few yrs of chronic pain but this severe pain stuff is awful! Mine is my left lower abdomen too! In don't understand why there isn't something out there that can help us with this pain!!! Grrrrr
