Gas / back pain

Hi all,
I had horrid back pains on Monday night. My stomach hurt too but I could barely tell because my back was so bad. It was in my low back at first then spread up under my shoulders too.
I think it was gas because when I finally got my husband to rub my stomach and abdomen I started burping over and over again. It seemed to relieve the pain. I have had this a couple times since my resection and I am not certain what they deal is. It lasted for about two hours. Does anyone else get this?

I have never had a resection; however, I do get a lot of gas and back pains. It is miserable. It seems to be one of those symptoms that just needs to run its course. Too bad that it seems to go on forever. I hope you are feeling better.
