getting worse

Well i posted last week about my hospital visit and history so far!can't seem t find that post t update.
i feel iv gone from bad to worse i now have d about 10-12 times a day with pain and have also starting have cold sweats when needing to rush! i am vomiting what little scraps i manage t eat (toast or crackers) or drink i have lost about 7lb since wed. i don't know whact t do as i don't yet have a diagnoses and am waiting for the colonoscopy to be rebooked.
Basically I'm living between in my bed and the toilet the fever gets so bad i feel like I'm going to pass out. i just want your advice i on what i should do as I've been to the hospital twice in two weeks one sent me home after a 5 hour wait with instructions to continue pred my doc prescribed the second visit (to another hospital) put me in a granny ward over nite on fluids and sent me home wit buscopan and paracetomol. please help i have my final exams in two days and i don't know how its goin t be possible i can't even lift my head never mind study!

Have you tried co-codamol? The codeine works on constipating you, whilst the paracetamol reduces fever, the two together ease the pain?

I know a lot of people cant take it but it is the only thing that lets me leave the house.

Iv tried tramodol but can't keep anything down since Friday so not sure how much of the medication is going into me

Tramadol never did anything for me pain wise or constipating wise.

Could you maybe get some dissolvable co-codamol (i think it may be called Codis, its def sold in pharmacists)

You should then absorb it before you are sick ? I was on liquid codeine for a while as i wasnt absorbing tablets?

TBH if you've not kept anything down since Friday then you need to go back to the Dr / A+E as you will dehydrate - i personally am a buggar for refusing to go to the hospital but if you are not even keeping water down you need to go and get some iv fluids?

Well ended up in a+e was a quick visit ended up on iv and fluids was toldbecause my gi isn't in that hospital they could keep me on a trolley for 3-4 days to admit me and then do a colonoscopy or send I'm home to sing my day ward in the morning to get an emergency appointment this week!so I'm hoping that all goes smoothly!also wondering if somethin is found would they prescribe straight away or would that be at a later appointment as I'm quite ill at the min

I'm glad you went to A&E and they took you seriously. I'm not sure whether they can prescribe you s omething right away after the colonoscopy, but I hope you will get treated soon.
