So just an update. I finally got an apt in with my doc this morning after suffering from pain and bloody d since saturday! He had to do a rectal exam and noticed I hate hemmies which I didn't have in june when he did my colonoscopy. He took me from 60 mg to 40 mg prednisone. He gave a prescription for a strong hemmie cream and a suppository for night. He said when he did my colonoscopy in june it was very early crohns and he could catch it. Now I feel worse then before. Is it possible something else could be wrong? He keeps saying how he wants me to get better but its like there is no progress.
Also girls have you tried any gluten free makeup? My face is sooo bad from the pred I have to cover it with something! Any ideas on a good face wash???

I really hope that you start seeing some improvement soon.

Re. face wash, I love Mario Badescu (www.mariobadescu.com). I use the strawberry scrub and also a gentle face wash intended to help with skin redness. They have some acne products, too.

Not sure if it's gluten free, but I use mineral makeup. I find that Bare Escentuals gives the best "glow," and they have a powder concealer that works really well. Not all mineral makeups are the same -- Body Shop, for example, uses (gasp) talcum powder, talk about cheaping out.

Best makeup I've ever used is by Neutrogena. It says that its gluten free. Can't help you with the face wash though. Mine is usually dry so I use Oil of Olay Regenerist face cream or Lubriderm when I'm feeling lazy. I don't have break out problems but then again I never did.

Neutrogena also makes a very nice face wash, One Step Gentle Cleanser. It's the only one I will use now! Takes off all makeup and doesn't dry out skin. But, don't look for it in the face wash aisle, look by the Neutrogena makeup display...
Oh, and makeup, Loreal's Mineral makeup is what I use. I liked it better than Sheer Cover and BareMinerals.
