Good day Bad Day

Yesterday I felt fantastic, energy levels beyond anything for ages & gut was as near as perfect as possible. Today though, talking about role reversal. Belly all over the place, moderate discomfort, extremely fatigued.
Plus I've been told not to inject Methotrexate today as they want to put me on a lower dose from 20 to 15mg, because 20mg is annihilating me for 4 days of the week post injecting. They started on about altering the dose on Tuesday & nothing has been sorted out. I've phoned the hospital pharmacy, no joy. The nurse who's dealing with it is away today so the other one is trying to contact her for me but it looks like nothing will be done now until tuesday. :ymadthey are both away monday)
Its been one of those days.

Sorry you are having a bad day!
Must be one of the hardest thing about this disease, being ok one day and terrible the next!
I hope you get the methotrexate sorted out soon. I have a friend who is on it, I'm not sure what dose, but she always feels bad the next day. Its not good to feel awful for 4 days, I hope you get some relief soon!

Hey Grant. Prednisolone can make you feel (And I quote from the info leaflet' here...!) 'euphoric'. Unfortunately it can be very up and down, and can do some weird and wonderful things. I notice you're on it from your signature, so this could be a contributing factor. I've just started a strong course of pred after a flare up and it's making me feel *very* up and down (Mostly up, luckily)

Hi AdamJC, I've been on Pred over the years a lot of times but not this time. I'm on one capsule of Entocort now though. But yesterday was one of those days that was just fantastic. Nothing bothered me Crohns wise & everything & anything seemed possible.

So sorry today couldn't have been another one of those dream days. It's so nice to have those but then when they are gone it is so hard to accept the reality of the not-so-good days again. I just had the exact same thing happen a few days back.
