Hello. Sorry I don't know of any good hospitals in India, I just wanted to say that no one can 'cure ' crohns, there is no known cure at the moment. Treatment aims to reduce symptoms and induce remission. remission is where you have no active inflammation. However it is not a 'cure ' as the inflammation can become active at any time. There is no doctor that can ever garuntee you that crohns will never affect you again, it's just not possible with this condition. If you feel that your current doctor and treatment plan isn't working well enough then by all means ask for further tests or a second opinion. It's important to remember that some of the medications do not work instantly so you may not notice an improvement straight away.
Another factor is your surgery, what did you have done? How recent was it? It is possible that the diarrhea you are experiencing is the normal diarrhea that many experience after bowel surgery as it takes time for the gut to get back to normal if a section has been removed. Also depending on the location of the resection, you may be suffering a problem with bile acid malabsoption, which can be treated using medication. It is also possible that some of the pain you are experiencing is the after effect of surgery and scar tissue.
