Feeling a little cranky right now, so I thought I would start a thread to share good news. I know it makes me feel better when I hear about the good things going on in the lives of others. It can be anything, really simple and dumb like, "Only had to go to the bathroom once this morning." (Although I guess that's not really that simple or dumb).

My mom sold her house, and got $24k more than the realtors told her she would get, so that's pretty good (even though I have to help her move now)...

We went to our youngest granddaughter's 2nd birthday party yesterday. Bought her a 2 wheel bike w/training wheels. She spent most of the time loving up on her grandpa. She's a real grandpa's girl.

I get to see my granddaughter tomorrow and spend a few days with her. She's 8 and I love spending as much time with her as I can. She live 3 hours away. Oh yea and I get to see my son too LOL

I got to go for a horseback ride today!!!.....didn't have a battle on my hands either, even though I haven't ridden my mare since July!.....she went out nice and easy - had a REALLY relaxing time.....

Now I'm sitting here with a glass of wine relaxing and enjoying time with my daughter (daddy is out of town tonight).

I got off my a** and went to the park with my kids. We had a really good time and for part of that time, I actually forgot how bad I've been feeling lately. I know it sure made them happy. I haven't felt like doing anything with them for such a long time now. The best I seem to do is lie in my bed with my daughter while she watches her favorite programs on tv. Man, I've been feeling like a pretty sucky mom lately. Well, today, we had fun and it felt good.

My daughter is achieving marks of >92% in all of her first semester university courses. I'm very proud of her! I've been spending a lot of time bragging about her acomplishments and it always makes me feel better.

My puppy came back when I called him even though he was playing with another dog. He's nearly 2, we cracked basic recall a long time ago, but when he's playing with other dogs he just doesn't seem to hear. But it looks like the training is taking effect at last!

Got my mom moved and she was very grateful. It was exhausting, but worth it.

Working on a new quilt. It's a new technique I am not familiar with, but the quilt is pretty.

Bought some Smarties even though we probably won't get any trick or treaters. Fingers crossed.

Had a visit from my step grandson aged 7. He has so many problems as he had serious heart defects at birth. An operation at 5 days caused a stroke and he now has cerebral palsy and no speech (but normal intelligence) You CANNOT wipe the smile off that child's face. Humbling to say the least!!

My granddaughter and I planted flowers today. We both were covered in dirt and wet to the skin but Oh what fun we had!
