My GI finally agrees with my idea that Humira was causing my neurological issues. I just got back from the lab and hopefully I start imuran next week.
I just want to stress the importance of telling your doctor ALL of your side effects, you know your body better than anyone. Keeping a diary sure helped speed up the process for me.
That said, Humira is a great medication, and it is not the first medication that didn't agree with me.

Hi chuck, I begin humira in a few weeks. Could you please tell me what kind of issues you had. I tell my GP every symptom, but for me imuran was terrible, and I'm hoping humira will be the best for my crohns. Though I have read that some people have neurological issues. What were they?

My right shoulder would get an arthritis type of pain, and my hand would tingle & feel very cold while still being warm to the touch. I was fine for months, then the last 6 shots were bringing stronger symptoms each time. Humira def saved my arse as far as the crohns symptoms though.

It sounds like you have a great doctor. I had strange side effects from Remicade and I am glad my doctor listened and switched me.
