Grass fed meats at Whole Foods?

Does anyone know any companies that sell grass fed chicken or turkey at chain health stores like Whole Foods or Trader Joes? Preferably organic.

Coleman Natural and Applegate comes to mind. I usually buy it fresh in the meat counter at Wholefoods and don't think they have any name brands listed in the case. Most of the prepackaged chicken at Wholefoods is their brand.

You may be able to check on the Trader Joes' website.....we have a store opening near me this fall, so I haven't been to one lately to check.....

Sometimes Price Chopper may have it too - you might have to ask.

If you don't mind paying more for better quality - check out www.longlessonangus.com - I think they ship.....if I see them next week at the farmers' market I can ask if you like - or you can email them.

As far as I know, it is. I think the only grass fed stuff you can get at Whole Foods is behind the butcher counter and tends to be crazy expensive.

Great company. I just got a good bit of stuff from there recently. Beef tallow, skirt steaks, and ground turkey.
