Has anyone had Colon resectioning

I had my surgery in may as some of you may know. but ever since then i have been having, not problems, but issues i guess you can say. For some reason it feels as though i always have to go to the bathroom. more of the pressure feeling then the urgency feeling. I didn't know if it was a result of the stretching of the colon when they moved it or what it could be. Does anyone ahve any ideas or suggestions for me?

Hey Mark, after my second resection (dont remember my first one) but it took a about a year for the bowels to sort get back to normal. Questran really helped the diahreah and pressure. Not sure why you are still having symptoms but then again this disease is tricky to say the least. Hang in there a bit longer.

Yeah there is no diahreah which is a good thing just the pressure is the tough part, can't ever really tell if i realy have to go or not.

Hey mark, yeah its been almost 4 months and ive kinda traded in the pain and sickness for diahrrea and like you said the feeling of needing to go sometimes, something I have never had to deal with crohns is the uncertainty of if im going to need the bathroom, so like a lot of people on here im training myself to knowing where bathrooms are etc...
Im going to mention it to my consultant when I see him on the 15th but im pretty sure i'll get the same answer as Pen has given us )
