And they were no help. It hurts when I have to go and it literally explodes out of me. They did some tests about a year ago and said they found nothing. This has been going on for about a year and a half. Was going to post a picture of recent bowel movement but its too big of a file.

Hello
Welcome to the forum.
Among the tests you had was there a colonoscopy done.
It would be helpful to know which tests have been done.
A year is too long to endure your symptoms and you really need a good gastroenterologist
to examine you , scope you etc.
You also need a complete blood workup .
Don't let it continue without getting some good qualified advice.
Feel better soon
Hugs and best wishes

Hello and welcome definitely need to see a GI like Trysha suggested sorry you are having discomfort sending :ghug: your way.

It's not uncommon to have severe symptoms yet have tests come back normal.

As Trysha said, if you tell us which tests you've had done people here may be able to tell you whether they're sufficient to have ruled out Crohn's. Do you suspect you have Crohn's as oppose to the many, many other possible causes of gastrointestinal symptoms?

Have your doctors made any attempts to treat your symptoms?

So sorry to hear you are dealing with this :( I have had a bunch of tests as well, all have come back as normal, but I struggle daily with loose stool and pain. Still no answers. I am personally waiting on a colonoscopy

Wow thanks for the quick replies! I had a rectal exam, some blood work and gave them a stool sample. I go to the bathroom anywhere from 5-10 times a day. I have to get referred by my doctor and last time he saw no need for a referral. Should I see someone else?

Yes, you should see someone who specializes in GI issues - a gastroenterologist (GI)... the number of times you go per day would be a sign that something is going on, and further exams/testing should probably be done.

Those tests are really not adequate - if your symptoms are persisting your doctor really should be doing more. Scans of some kind, endoscopy and colonoscopy would stand a much better chance of identifying what is wrong with you, though these tests are invasive.

Push for the colonoscopy. Even if nothing is found, at least you will have a more thorough exam and will know what step to take next.
