Just signed up yesterday and have been reading a lot of the posts on this site. I don't think I have it quite as bad as others on this site.

I am a 58 yr old female and was diagnosed with Colitis in November of last year. I had a pretty rough time for about 6 weeks. Was prescribed antibiotics and Apriso. In January, they ran a blood test on me, and I was diagnosed with Crohns disease. I am still on Apriso and am scheduled for additional tests next month. So I will find out more then.

Even though I said that others have it worse than me, it definitely is not a cake walk.

I hope to give advise and get advise from this site as time passes.

No matter the severity of your symptoms, you're still in a difficult situation and deserve help and support. You've come to the right place for that!

When did you start the Apriso? Have you noticed any change in your symptoms since taking it?

I don't have much to add at the moment except to say that everyone with this condition deserves support, it's never a walk in the park and everyone here understands this. I'm glad to see you have a positive view and that you've got treatment under way.

I hope your additional tests will give you more answers and allow you to make positive steps towards remission .

So nice to feel I am not alone in this journey. I started apriso in November 2013. It has helped tremendously. I was unable to go anywhere without feeling the urge that I needed to run to the bathroom. Thanks again.
