Hello, MMJ forum! I'm here for my dad.

My name's Kim, and I posted my dad's story in the "Your Story" forum. He's underweight, achey, and dealing with (as well as the side effects from various statins, which he continues to have to switch up).

I love him, and don't want him to suffer. Because of this, I'm finally going to suggest medical marijuana to him. Anyone's thoughts on this are entirely welcome, and I'd love to get to know this community more. The more stories I gather from you good folk, the likelier it is that I can convince him to try this out. I don't think he'll be adamantly opposed, but a strategy going in is never a bad idea.

When it comes to people with Crohn's who have tried MMJ, I have yet to see anyone say it did absolutely nothing for them and they hate it.

It's sad that such a wonderful medicine is illegal for most. That your dad lives in a pro MMJ state tells me that it may be something to consider.

I thank my lucky stars that we live in a much more MJ-friendly state, David. I can't imagine what it's like otherwise.

I'm gonna' keep talking it up to my dad. Hopefully, he'll try it out.
