hi Laura - glad to have you back, i remember you :)

sorry to hear you've come back because you're poorly though :(

i would say it's definitely time to ask your gp for a GI referral... the symptoms you describe in your other post today are not normal, and it's pretty impossible to keep up with your schooling while you're going through this. i know you've been through tests before and no real diagnosis was made, however something might show up this time around, and you need real help with these symptoms!

good luck with your doc's appointment, don't be afraid to push for help - you have every right to.

would you like me to merge your previous posts, so you'd have everything you've ever posted here under your new username?

Hi welcome back :)

I feel bad that you are not doing well. I would definetely like Ding mentioned get a referral or another doctor or push yours for more definite answers. I hope everything starts to get well again soon.

Hi Laura,
Sorry that you are not feeling well. It seems that it is a constant battle with the medical professionals with me too. Hang in there and get another doc. I am having to go back to the original doctor that diagnosed me a few years ago, but stopped when I lost my insurance.

Hoping that you start to feel better soon.

Hi Laura! Welcome back! I find that it is more necessary to write on this forum when things are going wrong then when things are going right, and that is okay. I’m sorry that you aren’t doing too well right now. It is hard when we get used to feeling better and then Crohns pokes its ugly head in and says, “Remember me? Yep, still here!”
Just try to be strong and you will get through it. We are all here for you.

Hi Laura and welcome back!

Sorry you are feeling bad. I hope you can get a firm DX soon so you can start on some meds to make you feel better! Hang in there and please pop back to let us know how you are doing.

Hi Laura and welcome! Being a teacher, I know just how stressful the job can be! It is especially stressful when trying to get your certification with all the observations! I actually have taken a break from the profession, because the stress (and the amount of homework!) was getting too much. And I think many will agree with me that stress is just no good for someone with Crohn's. Though you are busy with school, you must put your health first. Please set up an appointment with a GI, so you can get things under control quickly. Good luck!

Thanks for all of your replys :) i remember lots of people off here :)

the doctor wasnt exactly helpful he says i need to try relaxation techiques.... and to see if im still ill after my placement has finished because its obvious my teacher is a total B**** ( his words)

ill give it a try i guess but if not im going straight back because i know this isnt normal ive lost 7 pounds since sunday :(
