Hi guys,

I'm so glad I've found this forum. It's nice to have others to talk to who understand. As much as I love my husband, he doesn't really get it. I can hear him snoring in the bedroom while I'm typing this on the loo.

I look forward to getting to know you all.

Tori

Welcome, there is alot to learn here and everyone is very supportive and friendly. It takes some time but most peiple come around and befin to understand some of our struggle.

Hi tori

Welcome! I'm sorry your husband is not very understanding. Believe me, there are others in a similar situation. If your problem is that your illness makes you tired and dicatates the choices you make every day, look for the Spoon Theory (search on this site). My husband understood me a bit better when he read it.

Take your time to snoop around the forum. If you like, introduce yourself on My story. And if you have any questions, try and find the right thread and ask away. Or post on the general IBD discussion.

You have just gained a whole new support and friend network!

Welcome to the forum! You will find that lots of us here go through those exact feelings at different points in our lives dealing with IBD. Fortunately we have each other to help get through it all.

Introduce yourself to the forum in the MY STORY section, look around, post around and join the chat room. I've gained lots of info and met many wonderful people through this forum....even took a few of those friendships offline. I contribute a good amount of the progress I'm making today in my life to finding this group. I hope you are able to reap the same benefits!

Wishing you better health and sending lots of love and support your way!

Hello and welcome.I had a little smile at your post.My hubby is very understanding,he doesn't have a choice really hahaha.I have had some really "bad" times during the night, and hubs has been quite oblivious.Doesn't even know I'm not snuggled up beside him.And I really don't want to describe it all to him over breakfast.Hahaha. One of the many good things about the forum is,you can tell us anything, nothing is taboo, there's always someone who can empathise with you.Best wishes.
