I'm going on vacation on the 29th, and I am in SO MUCH PAIN. For the last couple of days my stomach has been hurting constantly and I've needed to go to the bathroom every twenty five minutes during the daytime and every hour at night. So I'm in pain, losing sleep and due my period on the 28th. Right now I don't know how I'm going to deal with all this pain and inconvenient bathroom going, especially when I'm off to London and will have to stand in queues and walk around all day and take hour and a half long trains!
I haven't really left my house in a couple weeks so I'm scared :(
Help for pain management?

I agree with axel it sounds like its would be best to go an see a dr. What treatment are oh on now? It may be you need to have a some steroids if it is really bad just to get you to a point that is more bearable. A pain killer I was prescribed before is codeine I found it quite strong though and I wasn't able to much as I was spaced out but it can help slow down bowel movements as well.
I hope you feel better for your holiday

I agree, you ought to see your GP. Codeine phosphate helps with both pain and diarrehea. I have been on it a long time but would be incontinent without it.

Crohn's can ruin a vacation. I took my son to Chicago for 5 days and he mostly layed around the hotel room. 2 months later, I had to cancel my trip to Portland, as it didn't feel safe to leave him home alone for a week. :(

To my complete surprise, Priceline gave me a full refund, even though I had bought non-changeable, non-refundable tickets! :)

Thank you everyone, went into A&E on Friday and got discharged earlier :) pushed back my vacation time but I'm flying tomorrow armed with my meds!
