There is Questran which is a medication that helps bind bile salts, many people find it works well. Plus medications like Imodium and Lomotil.

My daughter has short bowel syndrome and found that Questran worked for her but it was too unpalatable. Imodium and Lomotil caused bloating, cramping and pain. She eventually happened upon natural psyllium husks and they are what does the trick for her. They are marketed for constipation but in the case of terminal ileum removal it works by absorbing water and bile salts and bulking up your stool that way.
