Help?

Ok .. Three years in and I still have no idea about this disease.
So I'm currently on 200mg of Aza and bloods seem to be coming back as ok every month and consultant is happy I'm in remission.
I do suffer with tiredness, achy joints and occasional abdominal pain that knocks me for six, but i do my best to just get on with it.

However .. recently in last week, bowels a little more active (nothing compared to what I know a lot of you experience from reading posts), I have pain in my tail-bone which is painful and at times finding discomfort when walking. Im getting what feel similar to labour contractions when going to the toilet when there is obviously nothing left to empty from the tank. Passing wind hurts around my anus and I have the dreaded feeling of the god awful stomach pain down on my right hand side.

Not sure what to do to be honest? Any ideas?:sign0085:

It sounds like you may be starting to experience a flare - you should give your GI or consultant a call and be seen. How long has it been since you have any imaging or scopes? May be time to get some done to see if the meds you are currently on are still working effectively.

I had the same kind of pain. Pain when I sat down and abdominal pain. All the same symptoms and I ended up going to the er. It ended up being volvulus. This is where your bowel twists.

Thanks Guys. Im due to see my GI for review next Month so only 3 weeks till then.

Last scope was done 2 years ago but tbh the GI thinks Im doing great as my results are apparently the best he has seen in a Crohns patient (Im still convinced they got it wrong and its not Crohns) lol

Lying on my couch feeling like my derrière has a pulse of its own .. and hate the going to GP as I feel like im a hypochondriac when the results are always clear? Most recent bloods were last Monday and they were all good

It's really common to get sacroiliitis with crohns too. that's inflammation basically at your tailbone area. I deal with it a lot. It wouldn't explain the pain when having a BM but that can always just be from being constipated too. It's just another idea.

Hi please dont ever feel like a hypochondraic. If you feel unwell it will be bcoz you are, even if bloods show normal. Please get on to your doc/s and tell them excatly how you are feeling. That you need help now!. Sendings hugs and best wishes.

My flare showed blood were very well but ct and sonar showed otherwise, very active disease and fat stranding

Thanks Mandy .. I struggled through work again today. I can only describe the feeling of passing glass and the shifting of bum cheeks as I sat at my desk.

Im knackered, feeling cold and in need of a good nights sleep. Ive pre-empted the request for calprotectin so got that sorted for tomorrow.

You are welcome fi. I struggled myself today at work, because im a numpty n forgot to take my tablets . Even my fingers are painful now . Oh well that will teach me eh !! ☺

Ron no they dont know and i did mention the previous time it did not do anything the same as now. Only seeing my doc in 2months. I just dont know what to do anymore it messing me up , how does one live like this

Christi no no no.. get in touch with your doc hun tell him you need to see him and need some meds. You cant go 2 months like this love.
A lot of the time you have to push for what you need, i think this is one of those times hun. Hugs
