been gone for awhile had a 5 day stint in the hosp a couple of weeks ago no crohns active but feeling crappy and vomiting my upper stomach was irritated but found out i now have 3 new hernias behind my stoma i have a large one beside my stoma ad that was been painful and large at times now this evening the ones behind joe have popped out but my surgeon was to fix joe by moving him cause he plays turtle and goes in but he said no elective surgery it would be my 10 in less than 2 yrs but the hernias r bothering me any one have this problem to give me some advice on what to do plus learning to live with joe is hard enough now i have these other protrusions now too. help please ty jamie!!!:depressed:

Sorry you're going through such a hard time!! I don't have any advice for you unfortunately, but wanted you to know that someone is rooting for you...I hope you get it sorted out and get to feeling better soon!

NannaJ girl...Jamie. I have a HONKING parastomal hernia. I'm looking a good 7-8 months pregnant in fact. On my tiny frame it's ghastly!

Only option is surgery. But I understand it isnt always successful. Will they be doing a reversal on you at some point? Because they are going to wait till I have my reversal done. Also, there are support garments you can order for hernias. Ask your stoma nurse for advice on this. It can at least tide you over for the time being if they wont do surgery yet on you.
