Just wondering what everyone's either past or current hobbies are if you have any.
In the past fr me, I used to show chickens and rabbits. In chickens I raised two different breeds of bantams, I did standards at one point, but the bantams were so much easier to care for. I had to stop once I graduated high school in 2007 due to there not being any shows around near enough( that wasn't 4-H) I still miss those days. I continued raising rabbits for many years, just recently gave it up almost a year ago. I raised a few different breeds throughout the years, but the one breed I stuck its the whole time were satins. I sure miss the babies and sometimes the shows, but it just got to time consuming not to mention feed is expensive and I had 28 mouths to feed( not including the chickens and other animals!) so feed went quick! I really miss the babies, but unfortunately those babies grow up! I raised rabbits for little over 15 years. Chickens I raised for about 10 approx.
Now I just have chickens and ducks for eggs and I kept 9 rabbits for pets. I'm sadly down to 7 now as I had to put 2 to sleep this past year. One was 14 years old( I had that rabbit since I was 10 years old, and I got him when he was 8 weeks old!) and most recently I had to put down my 7 year old mini Rex because of heart failure and likely cancer. ( saw mass on X-ray and could feel growth on her liver) =(
My current hobby I'm into is something simple now. I recently got really into painting crafts, ceramic type things, figure ceramics, whatever they are called. I find it really relaxing to just sit and paint while listening/watching my TV at night. Nice stress reliever, though it didn't work to well today on that I'm currently super stressed about work. Ugh but this to shall pass!
So I'm curious to what everyone's else hobbies are! Post away!
